The goal of CirculEc is to build the capacity of the human capital in the HEIs of Central Asian countries on a circular economy in order to provide staff, students, and the wider public with skills and competencies aligned to the needs of local labor markets and environmental challenges CA countries face.

On December 20, 2024, at the Technological University of Tajikistan, within the framework of the project CirculEc - "Development of innovative curricula and modules in Circular Economy and Sustainable Development" it was held a round table on the theme "The role of the circular economy in ensuring the efficient use of natural resources in the Republic of Tajikistan".
From March 16-21, 2025, Professors from Central Asian Partner Universities, attended a series of productive trainings on circular economy in Bielefeld, Germany, organized by FHM University. Following these insightful sessions, they embarked on an enriching journey to visit local hubs and companies in Lemgo and Berlin.
European partner universities are hosting technical trainings on Circular Economy as part of the CirculEc project. These trainings will focus on developing innovative curricula, enhancing circular economy education, and equipping teachers from CA universities with the skills to implement sustainable business models.
