Tajik State University of Commerce (TSUC) is actively participating in the international project Education for Technological Literacy and Inclusion (E4TLI) for the period 2023–2025. The project consortium includes the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU, Spain), the Polytechnic Institute of Porto (Portugal), the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra (Spain), the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, and the private company MBM Associates Planning and Sustaining Pvt. Ltd., India.

As part of the project, a series of training seminars was held in Negombo, Sri Lanka, from June 15 to 21, 2025. These were organized in collaboration with MBM-Partners for Sustainable Planning and Development (India), on the initiative of international partners. During the seminars, participants discussed the main areas of project implementation, reviewed the results achieved, explored future development prospects, and examined other upcoming projects.

TSUC was represented at the seminars by Bakhtiyor Abdulloev, Head of the Department of International Relations, Project Implementation, and Academic Exchange, and Nurmuhammadi Abdullozoda, a specialist in the same department. Through presentations and discussions, they highlighted the university’s contributions to the project, key accomplishments, and the readiness of TSUC’s research team to develop lecture materials, syllabi, and academic articles on topics such as Blockchain and Cybersecurity.

The seminars emphasized the exchange of experience, strengthening of scientific collaboration, and joint planning with project partners. Participants also explored ways to enhance digital literacy, integrate new technologies into higher education, and boost student enrollment.

Notably, throughout the project’s implementation, dozens of TSUC students and faculty members have participated in virtual seminars and webinars, improving their digital and technological competencies. This initiative plays a vital role in enhancing educational quality, developing human capital, and expanding TSUC’s international partnerships.
